What a difference a post makes

Hi everyone,

So, on 23rd January I posted on Facebook a little reminder that I was available to come visit people’s homes and host a scarf party for them. The host gets a couple of free gifts as an incentive, and in more cases than not, a few unopened bottles of wine left over from what their friends bring over … A great night is had by all.

I didn’t expect such a response though, (it’s going to be a busy couple of months that’s for sure). Unfortunately I had to turn down the request for visiting a Customer in Plymouth, as 200 miles is just a bit too much for a couple of hours.

However, I’ve been able to say yes to requests in Bletchingley, Reigate, Woking, Redhill and Horley, with 2 more in the pipeline in Godstone and Crawley. Busy busy busy 🙂

I’ll be definitely selling a…

I’ll be definitely selling a few of these – Image

I have been trying to find some helpful scarf-tying hints online the last few days … There are lots of 1 off pages showing “x amount of ways to wear a scarf” etc, however, when printed off, they don’t look great. Countless hours of effort trying to get some of these pages looking good to take with me to scarf parties has proved fruitless, so my next job, (when I’ve convinced husband to take the children out for a few hours) is to try and bring some of the pictures and demo’s together into a presentation that I can have on my tablet ….  (maybe husband will have to take children out for the weekend !!)

From a Social Media perspective, Annie’s Closet has been very busy this week increasing our “reach” … We now have a “klout” score of 54.46 … which probably means something to someone, and if it does to anyone reading this, please enlighten me :). I’m reliably informed that for a small business brand to reach that in only 3 months is very good, and I should be grateful that my husband is doing it all for me …. But I’m not telling him that !! 🙂

I think what I’ll do is a giveaway on Sunday, not because it helps my Social Media “footprint” or “reach” or whatever it’s called, but because I love seeing everyone try and win a scarf …

Bye for now x

New stock, scarf party, Open House, great week

Hi,

Well what a busy week it’s been for Annie’s Closet.

After visiting the trade show in London and selecting a whole new batch of exciting, beautiful and desirable scarves for my loyal Customers, I’ve had a non-stop week of activity.

There’s been a scarf party at a new Customer’s home, where we booked another party to follow on. We’ve had an Open House at Annie’s Closet, where we’ve welcomed a whole bunch of current and new Customers to view and appreciate our offerings, and we’ve had a delivery of NEW STOCK 🙂 …….

All of the new stock is viewable at https://facebook.com/AnniesCloset and I’ve bullied my husband into updating my website at http://www.annies-closet.co.uk. Go take a look 🙂

I’m always looking at new opportunities, and new ways to make my Customers happy, so if anyone feels there is something they would like to see from Annie’s Closet, please let me know.

Thanks everyone,

The night before …..

Big delivery coming tomorrow with a great new range of scarves for the Spring. I’ve got people messaging me already asking to keep things aside that they’ve not even seen yet …. There’s some passionate scarf wearers out there.

Look out tomorrow for some pictures on my blog, and if time an upload to http://www.pinterest.com/anniesclosetuk.

Hopefully, my website Customers at http://www.annies-closet.co.uk will get a look in before everything is sold on Facebook at https://facebook.com/AnniesCloset 🙂

Stay tuned scarfers 🙂 x

New arrivals to Annie’s Closet

Today saw the delivery of a new selection of scarves to Annie’s Closet. Prints, animals and birds are represented in some beautiful colours and designs.

I’ve posted them on to the facebook site, https://facebook.com/AnniesCloset, however, as quickly as I’ve posted them, orders have been flooding in. There seems very little point in updating the website with a couple of new stock items left, so my website fans have missed out this time. Lesson for Annie’s Closet – “If you like a scarf, lots of other people do too, so don’t be too conservative with the stock”.

The 2 below have already been sold out … Birds on a tree in Light Grey and Pale Green.

Now, it’s time to update twitter, pinterest, google+ etc 🙂

Annie’s Closet is so busy that blogging is necessary to keep her Customers happy.

Blue star scarf example

Annie’s Closet was created in October 2013, by a scarf-loving mummy of 2 cheeky little girls. In the time we’ve been supplying beautiful scarves we’ve attended Fayres and fetes, hosted parties at our own premises and at Customer’s homes. We now have a website http://www.annies-closet.co.uk to go along with our original Facebook presence at https://facebook.com/AnniesCloset.

In these ever evolving days of Social Media we also have a presence on twitter, pinterest, google+, instagram …. and are growing loyal fans every day.

Come along for the ride xx
